FinVolution Group (FINV)
FinVolution Group operates a fintech platform that connects underserved individual borrowers with financial institutions in the People’s Republic of China. It operates in online consumer finance industry. The company’s platform is empowered by proprietary technologies, features automated loan transaction process, which enables a user experience. As of September 30, 2022, it had approximately 154.3 million cumulative registered users. The company was formerly known as PPDAI Group Inc. and changed its name to FinVolution Group in November 2019. FinVolution Group was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Shanghai, the People’s Republic of China.
FINV qualifies as a growth stock. It’s also a double-dipper since it does pay a dividend. But the dividend policy is unreliable since it’s an international stock.
WESCO International (WCC)
WESCO International, Inc. provides business-to-business distribution, logistics services, and supply chain solutions in the United States, Canada, and internationally. It operates through three segments: Electrical & Electronic Solutions (EES), Communications & Security Solutions (CSS), and Utility and Broadband Solutions (UBS). The EES segment supplies products and supply chain solutions, including electrical equipment and supplies, automation and connected devices, security, lighting, wire and cable, and safety, as well as maintenance, repair, and operating (MRO) products. This segment also offers contractor solutions, direct and indirect manufacturing supply chain optimization programs, lighting and renewables advisory services, and digital and automation solutions.
